Mark Norton is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and was Clinical Director of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Royal Cornwall NHS Trust for 6 years (2016 to 2022). Mark is a highly experienced hip surgeon with over 20 years’ experience with young adult hip surgery and hip resurfacing, undertaking approx. 300 hip replacements and over 50 hip arthroscopies per year.
Mark achieved his primary medical qualification from the University of Cape Town Medical School in 1988, spending the next 13 years training to become an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Outside his clinical work, he regularly lectures on hip surgery at National and International meetings.
